"THE PLACE TO BE"
I spent a lovely time at Ghoha during my last trip. The managers Abram and Nanette know the real meaning of hospitality. Sinche the check in they took good care of me offering at top quality service. Room was big and elegantely furnished. The guide during the game drive was very informative and helpful, his knowledge was very deep. Last but not least the food was simply divine ! All in all I highly reccomend Ghoha for his location, staff and big attention to the small details !

"JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME"
Ghoha Hills was like a dream come true! I travelled alone this past July and my first stop in Botswana was here. Set atop the beautiful hills, the tents are like "Out of Africa" gems. You can get lost in them and they are like nothing I have ever seen. But, most of all are the two people who manage Ghoha Hills, Nanette and Abram, are the most fantastic people. They treat you "individually" with such kindness and pampering that you will feel bathed in love. When I go back to Africa, I will "always" stay at Ghoha Hills. The food, game drives and staff are magnificent. I couldn't possibly have asked for more. My last day, the entire staff got together and sang and danced for me and I couldn't have felt more loved and will miss this extraordinary place more than words can tell!

"5 STAR LUXURY AT IT'S BEST"
Ghoha Hills is such a magical place, high up on a hill with breathtaking views over the valley. From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble, with our every whim catered to. The tented accommodation was superb and very comfortable. BG our guide was quite the character and the Manager was absolutely wonderful. Overall excellent 3 night stay there, and would definitely go back again!

"GREAT PLACE WITH GREAT PEOPLE"
Visiting Botswana is wonderful experience per se, but Ghoha hills lodge is really something. Excellent location on a hill allows you to observe the animals even while enjoying your breakfast. The tents are luxurious and eco-friendly at the same time. But the best of it is the staff that makes you feel really special and gives you that great impression of Africa that you take home with you and stays in your memory for a long, long time. When the staff gathers and sings their native songs and dances for their guests…incredible. Our whole family (8 &12 years old daughters) enjoyed the place tremendously.

"TRULY A LITTLE PARADISE"
We have spend two nights in Ghoha Hills and couldn't leave the place!
1) Abram and Nanette are the nicest managers I have ever met. They did everything to make our stay unforgettable, with success.
2) The rooms are amazing! Specially the view which is very special compare to the other lodges in Botswana.
3) Perfect place for game drive. As the concession is private, you can drive during hours without crossing another car.
4) Food: Perfect. They are aware of the gluten allergy and are cooking delicious dishes for every taste.
5) Guide: very professional and talented. The one day game drive was a great experience!
6) Atmosphere: Peaceful in a cosy place, nicely decorated. Conclusion: we loved our honeymoon in Ghoha Hills! ;-) Warmly recommended!

"HOSPITALITY AND WILDLIFE AT IT'S BEST"
We were on a 4 ½ weeks self drive round trip in Namibia and Botswana staying at 14 lodges.
The following is an excerpt of our diary of our stay at Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge from September 23rd to September 25th, 2014, and does not include other features which are described at tripadvisor by other guests as positive as we would do it:
Personal and very friendly reception by the South African manager-couple Abram and Nanette. Introduction of the competent restaurant and game drive staff.
Excellent food and wines.
Full-time(day) game drive to Savuti Marsh with guide B.G. (he was great). One highlight was a photograph of a leopard resting lazily on a tree, where I luckily catched a glimpse of his face while it was looking demonstratively bored the other way all the other time.
As my wife and me had been not only looking for the Big Five, which we all had seen several times before in Kenya and South Africa a long time ago and partly last year in Cameroon, we also kept an eye out for the Small and Ugly Five and other game and birds as well. Apart from the leopard we watched a lion family with two kittenish cubs and elephant herds with calves of different age. Anybody interested in it may watch not only the common black-heeled antelope (impala), but the blue wildebeest, sable antelope, roan antelope, giraffe, plain or Burchell's zebra, warthog, hippo, baboon, African wilddog, hyaena, kori bustard, blacksmith lapwing, lilac-breasted roller and other animals.
Abram and Nanette manage the lodge perfectly. They also invited all guests to come to and sit around the campfire of the lapa to attend the dancing and singing performance of the staff. As guest one had the feeling that this was also a great pleasure and fun for the staff and not just a „booked“ touristic event (moreover) for just one mid-size group of travellers like we had experienced at one luxurious Namibian lodge, where the several individual guests sitting a bit aside were actually ignored.
In addition to preceding E-Mail correspondence we want to extend our very best wishes to Abram and Nanette and their staff for a healthy, happy and successful New Year.
Even if you include and compare the substantial cost, Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge was our highlight out of 14 lodges in Namibia and Botswana, however for the sake of fairness closely followed by Mogotlho Lodge, Three Baobabs Lodge and Tilodi Lodge (all as well in Botswana), but far from the mostly largely routine handling at many Namibian lodges we had been visiting. And this was apparently not only due to the respective varying number of guests to be served.
We are very grateful to Abram, Nanette and their staff at Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge for enabling this stunning experience!
